New Leaf helps David secure his future

Before being referred to New Leaf  by his local Job Centre, Dave was unemployed, homeless and didn’t feel very good about himself or about his future.

Dave had previously worked most of his life and wanted to get back into work in the security industry. But this required a licence, costing hundreds of pounds. With support from New Leaf partner, Groundwork, Dave was able to apply for and pass his licence. He also received lots of support and advice that helped him build his confidence, manage his finances better and improve his health and well-being.

Dave is now much happier. He has his own apartment and is eating and sleeping better. He also managed to put his recently acquired qualification to good use, having just landed himself a new job as a fully qualified Door Supervisor.
