How we make a difference
Many thousands of people each year in Liverpool, St Helens and Warrington benefit from our investments in a wide range of social projects. That includes people living in Torus homes and members from the wider community. We plan to invest about £5m a year in community action, projects and initiatives that improve lives, increase opportunity, bring people together and makes communities much stronger and resilient.
We provide a wide range of support throughout the year, but projects mainly cover four main themes:

Expert guidance to help people manage their income and benefits with confidence

Access activities that improve health and wellbeing
Young People
Inspiring activities and experiences that help young people to thrive
Become one of our partners
Our partners include national and regional government organisations, other charities and not-for-profits, community groups, corporates and others. Primarily profits from the Torus group are used to fund our work in the community, but we also need to access public and private sector grant funding to make the sustainable impact we need to make on such a large scale.

Community Investment Fund
To help increase the amount of support taking place across Torus neighbourhoods, community groups and local organisations are able to apply to Torus Foundation’s Community Investment Fund.
Measuring our social impact
Our work is making a big difference in Liverpool, St Helens and Warrington, bringing a range of economic and social benefits to local people. But you don’t have to just take our word for it. We commission social impact reports that summarises key figures and findings in vital areas.
